This Alpha Hydroxy Acid Cleanser is one of our best sellers and suitable for all skin types. It contains an amazing array of organically derived active ingredients carefully selected for their proven effects on the skin. We also carry this cleanser with Jojoba beads for a more aggressive cleanser.
This is a milder version and is a better choice for sensitive skin types than the Jojoba version is. Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA's), the most important ingredient, occur naturally in several foods and include citric acid (from citrus fruits), malic acid (from apples), tartaric acid (from grapes), lactic acid (from milk), and Glycolic acid (from sugarcane). When applied to the skin, fruit acids supplement the skin's natural exfoliation process by loosening and sloughing away the outer layer of dead skin cells, revealing the newer, smoother cells underneath. This process rejuvenates the skin by improving circulation and stimulating new cell growth, resulting in a fresher, healthier complexion and reduced pore size.
As you can see, we packed everything we could think of into this one fantastic cleanser to give you the results you are looking for, improving your skin tone and texture while gently removing impurities, leaving it soft and smooth, not overly dry or tight.This cleanser complements most of our skin care products, with the exception that it should not be used after a chemical peel until the skin has stopped peeling (no AHA's should be used during the healing stage). Use both morning and night by applying to moist skin and massaging well. Rinse with lukewarm water and follow with your toner and moisturizer of choice.

• Moisten face and gently massage over skin, avoiding eyes. Work into lather for 30-60 seconds to allow active ingredients to fully penetrate, and rinse with warm water and blot dry. Follow with the moisturizer of your choice. Do not use immediately after a chemical peel or microdermabrasion treatment, the active ingredients require your skin to be fully healed before using to avoid irritation and discomfort.
