I've been purchasing TCA from Skin Obsession for about 5 yrs now, but wasn't consistently using the peel until 2021.
Prior to TCA 20%, I bought the15%(because i didn't want to shock my skin and cause Hyperpigmentation).
Since using a VI Peel on my face for the Melasma, if you use the Woven gauze pads, apply scrubbing motion to the skin in a different direction with each applied layer, you obtain a better penetration
I started applying the TCA peel to my hands, elbows and knees in the same manner i learned to apply the VI Peel to my face, resulting in a great peel with better results. I use the 1% Hydrocortisone cream to prevent inflammation that can happen with skin peels.
FYI: skin over your joints such as elbows, knees, ankles, fingers is really tough and may require more than one peel session.
The 20% will be used on my body parts, except for my face in the same manner as the 15%.
