20% TCA Chemical Peel
WHAT IS IT: TCA stands for trichloroacetic acid. This acid is the strongest we carry. This peel ships to you in a 30ml (1fl oz) glass amber bottle. This amount will provide 8-10 full face peels. This is a 1.5 pH medium-level peel designed for experienced users.
WHAT DOES IT DO: TCA peels will take years off your skin over time. A medical-grade quality peel at this concentration will provide results even after the first peel.
This peel will effectively treat dull skin, fine lines, mild scarring, sun damage, uneven pigment, oily skin, acne and blackheads.
HOW DO YOU USE IT: Your chemical peel will include detailed step-by-step instructions including pre- and post-care instructions. TCA peels are applied in layers and left on for 5-15 minutes before an additional layer is applied. Reapply until frosting occurs, then wash with plain water.
WHY USE AN AT-HOME TCA PEEL: With such an impressive track record for safety and effectiveness, this is one of our best sellers. This 20% TCA facial peel is a powerful and effective tool for resurfacing your damaged skin. With just a few applications, this peel is guaranteed to improve many of the skin conditions that we all wish we didn't see, particularly those that come with aging. After your first 20 TCA peel, your skin will instantly be softer and noticeably smoother. With ongoing treatments, you'll find drastic improvements in skin texture and tone, including reductions in hyperpigmentation and lines from sun exposure.
The real magic of this peel happens under your skin, where collagen is being stimulated. This is what plumps up the lines and scars, yielding a smoother, more refined and overall beautiful complexion.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The TCA 20 chemical peel is a light to medium-depth peel with a pH of 1.5. The depth of the peel is controlled by the amount of time you leave it on your skin. This is one of the most commonly performed chemical peels in medical offices and spas because it is one of the most effective and has the most impressive results. Expect moderate peeling and significant downtime.
OTHER INFORMATION: Although the 20 TCA peel can be used by first-time peelers, we recommend some experience with peeling so you're prepared for the discomfort and the down time associated with a peel such as this. If you are new to peeling, we highly recommend using a lighter peel such as a Glycolic or a 15% TCA instead, before jumping to this level.
Along with this peel, you will receive a detailed instruction manual and a free sample of our best-selling microdermabrasion crystals. This peel suits most skin types.
Use additional caution with sensitive skin & skin types above a "three" on the Fitzpatrick Scale. A spot test is always recommended, no matter your skin tone.
