While Supplies Last!

This is a small batch product just for our 20th Anniversary Celebration and once they are gone they will be out until we launch it in July 2026 as part of our permanent line up!

Introducing our latest peel product, this one specifically designed to help improve the tone of your skin by fading hyperpigmentation, sun damage and age spots with little irritation and no down time.

An 8% (or similar high-percentage) Tranexamic Acid peel is a specialized, often professional-grade, cosmetic treatment designed to target stubborn hyperpigmentation, melasma, and skin dullness. It inhibits melanin production and reduces inflammation, leading to brighter, more even-toned skin.

  • Key Aspects of Tranexamic Acid Peels:

  • Targeted Skin Concerns: Highly effective for melasma, sun spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), and overall brightening.
  • Mechanism: It works by reducing the interaction between melanocytes and keratinocytes, slowing down melanin production, and curbing vascular inflammation.
  • Treatment Types:
Professional: In-office chemical peels or combined with microneedling for deeper penetration for optimal professional grade results.
At-Home/Cosmeceutical: High-purity TXA serums are easy to use treatments for brighter, more even toned skin.
  • Benefits: Considered safe for various skin types and, unlike some peels, safe for use during summer when combined with proper sun protection.
  • Precautions: While generally well-tolerated, it can cause mild skin irritation or dryness. It should be used with caution if you have extremely sensitive skin.

Key Instructions for Tranexamic Acid Peels

Preparation: Ensure the skin is clean and dry. A gentle cleanser should be used to remove impurities, avoiding the eye area.

Application: Apply the peel evenly, typically using a brush or gauze, focusing on areas with pigmentation or uneven tone.

Duration: The peel is generally left on for 2–5 minutes, depending on the specific product instructions and the skin's sensitivity.

Neutralization: Wash off with water, then apply a neutralizing solution of baking soda and water (1/4 c in a sink full of clean cool water, splash face repeatedly with eyes tightly closed, ensuring no residue remains. Pat dry and apply a moisturizer and sunscreen (we recommend Mineral Sunscreens over Chemical formulas to prevent irritation from the sunscreen chemicals)

Frequency: Treatments are typically spaced 7–10 days apart for a series of 5–8 sessions.

Post-Peel Care:
Avoid direct sun exposure, heat, or intensive workouts for 24–48 hours.
Use sunscreen (SPF 30+) daily, which is crucial as the skin is more sensitive and prone to sun damage.

Hydrate the skin well and avoid other harsh actives for 24–48 hours to minimize irritation.

Precautionary Advice
Patch Test: Always conduct a patch test, particularly on sensitive skin.
Avoid High Sensitivity: Do not use if you have active infections (like herpes simplex), recent sun damage, or have used Accutane within the last year.
